Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has assured fans they will renew the contract of Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo's future remains clouded with no discussions over a new deal since his infamous meeting with Florentino last September.
However, Punto Pelota says Florentino told Real fans at a supporters' function that "we will renew and the club will pay".
The Real president was responding to one supporter who offered, in jest, to help fund Ronaldo's new deal.
