Florent Malouda admits he'd like to stay with Chelsea.
The France international, 31, says he is happy to remain at Stamford Bridge, but not if he is only going to be used as a substitute.
He told The Sun: "No, I don't accept being a sub. I would never accept it otherwise it would be time for me to retire.
"It has been a hard season for me but things can change very quickly here. Last year I was the club's top scorer and this year I started the season as a substitute and less playing time.
"This year I experienced quarter-finals from the stands, a semi-final on the bench, which is the first time for me. I want to play in finals and win them.
"I know I show up when I'm on the pitch. But I'm not someone who likes to complain. Everything is possible here. 'I'll see what the coach wants to do. I am a competitor, of course I want to play.
"I have one year left, I think I will go to the end of my contract."
