Fletcher urged not to quit Man Utd

Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes Darren Fletcher may stay today.

The Scot saw a move to West Ham United collapse on Saturday and is a deadline day target for Celtic and West Bromwich Albion.

But Neville says: "It's a difficult one. Because United don't have too many midweek matches, Louis van Gaal has a big squad and Darren Fletcher hasn't been getting a lot of football but the fact that Carrick has picked up an injury for four weeks may make him think he could get some football in the next few weeks.

"I don't think there'll be a rush to get out of United at this moment in time. I think he will wait until the summer and do it in his own time. I think at this moment in time it wouldn't be sensible for him to move."
