Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher is preparing for his playing comeback.

The Mirror says Fletcher took part in Manchester United's full training session today ahead of tomorrow's Champions League tie with Galatasaray.

Fletcher, who has not played for United since last November after being struck down with a bowel condition, is pushing for a first-team comeback.

Sir Alex Ferguson is looking at United's Capital One League Cup tie at home to Newcastle next week as the game to give Fletcher his long-awaited comeback.
