Darren Fletcher says Manchester United's senior players always lend support to the club's academy team.

"If there's an U18s game on a Saturday morning at Carrington and we're training ahead of a Sunday match, a good majority of the lads will walk over and watch the match," Fletcher told manutd.com. "A lot of the first team players will always take time out to go and watch the games.

"We always keep an eye on which players are coming through and which have a chance of making it into the first team. There's a fine line between success and failure so it's important that, as a young player, you really knuckle down and work hard."
