Darren Fletcher has likened Aston Villa youngster Barry Bannan to Manchester United teammate Paul Scholes.
Fletcher knows all about Bannan after facing him in central midfield during United's 2-2 draw against at Villa Park on Saturday.
The 26-year-old said: "He is in the mould of some of the best midfielders in the world, that size, like Xavi, (Andres) Iniesta, Paul Scholes.
"He has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water. He is comfortable and confident so this match won't faze him.
"He will enjoy it and go out there and put in a performance like he has been doing for Aston Villa. He played really well at the weekend."
