Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher was delighted to be on the mark in victory over Fulham.

Fletcher hit his sixth goal of the season with Carlos Cuellar and Stephane Sessegnon adding their first strikes of the campaign.

"I think this win has been coming - we were unlucky at Everton and it was great to put in a good performance today, score a few goals and get three points," Fletcher told safc.com.

"We saw against Newcastle that it can be tough to play against ten men but today we took the game by the scruff of the neck and got our goals."
