Steven Fletcher has no doubts Wolves will improve on last season following the signings made by manager Mick McCarthy.
Fletcher has been followed by fellow new boys Jelle van Damme, Steven Mouyokolo and Stephen Hunt this summer.
And Fletcher is confident they can improve the team.
"All the new signings have done well when they've played," he told the Express & Star.
"I knew the boys were part of a quality team before I came in and I knew what their strengths were. We've got some great talent so I'm looking forward to getting the season started.
"It's a bigger squad than Burnley's because they only had a small squad and it was quite hard for us. But here the gaffer has a lot of options that will help us.
"Having a decent-sized squad helped Wolves last season and hopefully it will again."
