West Bromwich Albion signing Darren Fletcher has been impressed by Saido Berahino in training.
Berahino is in hot water this week for stating he sees his future beyond WBA.
But former Manchester United midfielder Fletcher can see the funny side.
"The lads got straight into him with a little bit of stick," he said.
"It was all in good fun. He is young and said something that he will learn from. I know from being in the dressing room he loves West Brom and wants to do well here.
"When you are young you say things you maybe regret. I have been there where you say something you wish you hadn't. The biggest thing is learning from it."
