Flanagan celebrated Liverpool goal with family and pizza

Liverpool hero Jon Flanagan admits he was able to score his first goal for the club in front of his nearest and dearest.

It helped the Reds to a 5-0 win, a result Flanagan celebrated in style.

"I got back from London just in time for Match of the Day 2 and I had a Domino's," Flanagan told the Liverpool Echo.

"It was nice to watch the goal again. I recorded it too. I'm still buzzing. To score was a dream come true.

"It was perfect as my dad, two of my uncles and some of my mates were there. It was brilliant to be able to share that with them. All the lads piled on top of me and they were buzzing for me.

"I don't think they were expecting it as I don't get many. I think my last one was for the U21s against Crystal Palace.

"When I got back to the dressing room I must have had 30 to 40 messages on my phone."
