Flamini wants Arsenal stay

The former Marseille midfielder has earned his first caps for France and his performances make him one of the most sought after players in Europe.

After having clearly hinted at a move to Serie A last summer, the key figure has committed himself to The Gunners.

His contract is due to expire in June, but Flamini has revealed his intention to sign a new contract with Arsene Wenger's club.

When asked by setantasports.com about his intention to remain an Arsenal player, he said: "Yes, I hope I'll stay.

"I'm having a lot of fun at Arsenal, I get on very well with the team.

"I'm happy here so I hope that everything is going to be alright."
