Flamini: England much different to Italy

Former Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini has admitted he is yet to settle into life with AC Milan and said it may take time for him to hit top form with the Rossoneri.

"It is hard to make a good impact as soon as you arrive at a new club in a new country," Flamini told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I'm in good shape, but I still need to get more confidence and become more consistent if I am to be at 100 per cent.

"My objective is to hold a first-team place, but first I have to get to know my teammates better and the way Milan play, which is completely different to Arsenal." When quizzed on which league he prefers, Flamini said, "Do I like Serie A or the Premier League better? They are both great Leagues but Italian football is more about tactics, whereas English teams attack from start to finish and there is more space."
