Former Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini insists he didn't sign with AC Milan for money.

The Frenchman is joining Milan on a Bosman and said: "I chose the Rossoneri because the Italian championship is once again the best. I've not come here for money, if that was the case, many other major players would be in Italy.

"Next year we will win the Scudetto and UEFA Cup. Milan is a great club and has everything, when I played at the San Siro with Arsenal it gave me chills."
