Flamengo striker Adriano is being linked with AC Milan. The Brazil international has rebuilt his career since leaving Inter in January and his agent confirmed a return to Italy after the World Cup was on the agenda.

Gilmar Rinaldi went further last night, revealing: "We've spoken to Milan and to Inter, perhaps in the future he could go there, we'll see.

"In his contract, moreover, there is no clause that prevents him from going to Milan, a team that respects him."
