Former Inter Milan striker Adriano has been unveiled as Flamengo's latest signing.

"I have come back to Brazil to find happiness again," he beamed at a Press conference. "I am back at home where I grew up and there is nothing better than being here amongst friends and family.

"I always wanted to return to Flamengo. I never thought about quitting football. I just needed some time to relax.

"I have always enjoyed laughing, playing around and having fun and that didn't happen in Italy.

"As soon as I came back here I was happier. It will make me happy to wear this shirt.

"When I walked into the club headquarters it was like I was 7-years-old again when I started here."
