Flamengo are intensifying their pursuit of AC Milan star Ronaldinho. The Brazilian giants are determined to bring the former World Player of the Year back home.

Globoesporte says Flamengo president Patricia Amorim has already dined with Ronaldinho to discuss a move. Amorim is willing to make the midfielder Brazil's highest ever paid player with a €4.5 million-a-year contract, which still falls well short of his €8 million-a-year deal at Milan.

Phil Scolari's Palmeiras also remain in contact with Ronie's minders.
