Flamengo are chasing released Inter Milan striker Adriano.

Adriano is now a free agent and his representative, Gilmar Rinaldi, admits there are no immediate plans to return to playing.

Flamengo vice-president Delair Dumbrosck said: "We will do our best so he returns to play with us.

"Flamengo helped Ronaldo to recover and we can do the same for Adriano - with or without a contract."
