"I will no longer accept behaviour like this," slammed Flamengo coach Cuca in newspaper O'Globo.
"Whoever turns up late or misses training entirely simply won't play in my team any more. I don't care if it's Adriano or anyone else."
L'Imperatore infuriated Flamengo this week when he was caught by photographers on a beach during a skipped training session.
"Unlike Ronaldo or Romario, who are both extremely technical forwards, Adriano is a player of brute strength," added Cuca.
"He needs to be in perfect physical condition to give his best. He needs to train and work harder than anyone else."
