Flamengo coach Reinaldo Rueda is delighted with the form of Real Madrid's teenage whiz Vinicius Jr.

Vinicius signed for Real earlier this year, but is currently playing on-loan with Fla - where he is now impressing under Rueda.

The coach told Cadena Ser: "I was surprised by Vinicius because of his mental control and despite his transfer to Real Madrid he has not changed his behavior, he is still very humble and communicative with his teammates.

"On a sporting level he is certifying what we've seen two years ago when he had his breakthrough with the Brazil youth team. He has a very great technical, physical power and that great knack of scoring that will take him a long way. He will mature for sure."
