FK Vojvodina expect Man Utd delegation to arrive this week to close Vanja Milinkovic-Savic deal

FK Vojvodina supremo Zoran Pavlovic admits negotiations with Manchester United over the sale of goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic were grueling

United announced an agreement for the teen on Saturday, though it's understood nothing will be made formal until the player's parents signs terms this week.

Pavlovic confirmed: "It did not go smoothly, but the progress of talks with Budimir Vujacic, the Manchester United scout for South Eastern Europe, John Alexander, Secretary General and Jim Lourel, director of scouting, saw Vanja agree to move to their club after a year, when he is an adult.

"We expect representatives of Manchester United next week to come to Novi Sad to agree things with Vanya's parents."
