Barcelona's presidential candidates were confirmed on the weekend.

Josep Maria Bartomeu will compete against four other men for Barcelona presidency on July 18.

The former chief's main rival will be another ex-president, Joan Laporta, while Toni Freixa, Agusti Benedito and Joan Batiste will all also vie for the role.

Jordi Farre and Jordi Majo will not stand in the elections after failing to gain the 2,534 required signatures to endorse their campaign.
