Chelsea fullback Ashley Cole was left out of the squad for last night's Carling Cup semi victory over Everton.
The Sun says Cole was left out of Chelsea's 16-man squad - despite being fit.
Cole was angry on Saturday when told to hand the captain's armband to sub Didier Drogba after 70 minutes of the FA Cup game against QPR.
That embarrassment came just four days after he was left out of the squad for the game at Fulham.
