Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has his fingers crossed over a possible start in the FA Cup final later this month.
The 26-year old has been used as a substitute since returning from injury but after his second-half contribution in Sunday's 1-1 draw at Manchester United, perhaps there could be a spot for him in Arsene Wenger's starting eleven for the May 30 Wembley date with Aston Villa.
"I've been very patient coming back from injury," he told Sky Sports 1.
"It always takes time when you come back. I feel I'm getting ready in training and I just need more match minutes.
"But as a substitute you have to be positive and you need to be focused as well because when you get a chance you need to take it."
Regarding a possible FA Cup start, Walcott added: "You'll have to ask the manager about that but hopefully I've given him something to think about."
