Juan Mata is well aware that Manchester United will find it difficult at Hull City in two week's time.
The Red Devils defeated the Tigers 2-0 in the EFL Cup semi-final first leg tonight to put one foot in the Wembley final.
However, goalscorer Mata is expecting a tough clash at the KCOM Stadium against Marco Silva's side on January 26.
"It is only the first step to Wembley," he told Sky Sports.
"There it will be difficult. A lot more pressure with their fans in their stadium, but we conceded no goals which is important in a semi-final."
Mata also felt that United had to change their game style after half-time to break down the visitors at Old Trafford.
"That we needed to play with more tempo in the game," he said when asked of manager Jose Mourinho's half-time talk.
"Basically that. Create a little bit more, a few chances to score easier. 2-0 is good result, but it's not done for sure."
