First England calls for two more Blackburn starlets

Blackburn Rovers academy continues to produce top talent with two youngsters winning their first England U18 calls.

Defenders Jackson Ramm and Matthew Pearson have both been named in Noel Blake's 18-man squad for the forthcoming international friendly against Poland at Wycombe Wanderers' Adams Park on Tuesday.

Right back Ramm played 13 games for the reserves last season, despite being only 16, making over 30 appearances in total in his first season with the club.

Central defender Pearson, 17, has been on Rovers' books since the age of 10 and has been a regular fixture in Iain Brunskill's reserve team squad this season.
