Liverpool defeated Fleetwood Town 5-0 in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday evening.
The Reds dominated proceedings at Highbury Stadium with recent arrival Marko Grujic opening his account with his first goal for the club.
The 20-year-old Serbian midfielder, who signed in January but spent the remainder of last season on loan at Red Star Belgrade, got on the end of a smart ball from Alberto Moreno, following good work from £34million recruit Sadio Mane, to fire home in the 18th minute.
Grujic had also earlier won a penalty which Danny Ings had saved.
16-year-old Ben Woodburn added a second goal in the 52nd minute before experienced midfielder Lucas Leiva slotted home on 69 minutes after some lead-up work from the impressive Ryan Kent.
Moments later and Roberto Firmino made it 4-0 with a simple finish before the Brazilian rounded out the five-goal rout when bundling home Woodburn's pass.
Liverpool's next pre-season fixture takes place against Wigan Athletic on Sunday before they meet Huddersfield Town and then onto the USA for the International Champions Cup.
