Fiorentina winger Marco Marchionni is delighted with his latest Italy selection.

"It is a great satisfaction to be here, even more so considering it was so unexpected," he smiled.

"I don't see all that much difference between Fiorentina and Juve.

"In recent years the Viola have proved they can compete with anyone. We will have to be very careful when it comes to Genoa, Napoli and Lazio, who are all playing very well.

"As for Europe, Olympique Lyonnais are a tough side, but according to Fabio Grosso, we can do it."
