Fiorentina are desperate to sign Real Madrid wing-back Royston Drenthe this month.

AS says Fiorentina sports chief Pantaleo Corvino has spoken to his Real counterpart, Pedja Mijatovic, about taking the young Dutchman on-loan with the view to a permanent £7 million signing.

However, Mijatovic has slapped a £15 million price-tag on Drenthe and told Corvino he won't move for a penny less.
