Fiorentina are in advanced negotiations for Internacional de Porto Alegre midfielder Alex.
The Viola want to bring the Brazilian to Florence at the end of the season and are discussing an £8 million fee with Inter for the attacking midfielder.
Fiorentina are willing to pay £4 million now for Alex and another £4 million at the end of the season.
