Fiorentina have snapped up goalkeeper Cristiano Lupatelli.

He has agreed to a short-term deal with the club and is expected to act as their third-choice 'keeper, behind Brazilian Neto and expected arrival Emiliano Viviano.

It is a return to Florence for 34-year-old Lupatelli, who previously played for Fiorentina between 2004 and 2008.
