Fiorentina striker Giuseppe Rossi is delighted with his recall to the Italy squad.

Rossi is back with the Azzurri after overcoming serious knee injury.

"I am delighted and very proud to return to wear the blue shirt," he told reporters. "It's been a long time.

"I have to thank Prandelli for this call-up.

"Without a doubt I will do everything possible to repay the faith shown in me.
