Fiorentina ace Adrian Mutu admits he's not happy turning 30 this week.
“I don't like parties much partly because I'm not happy to get older,” Mutu explained.
“What birthday present would make me happy? Simple, to win something with Fiorentina.
“I am happy with what I have done so far but I want to do more and to improve so that I can try and pick up some important silverware.”
Fiorentina fell at the first hurdle in this season's Champions League and must now focus on Serie A and the UEFA Cup.
“We want to stay in the Champions League qualification zone, even if that will be more difficult than in previous years,” Mutu continued.
“If we manage it then it shows that we have made a leap in quality and we are close to climbing the final steps to the top.
“We have already shown that we can win games that are very difficult on paper, especially away from home, but we can't afford to let points slip in games like the Lecce fixture coming up.”
