Fiorentina are being linked with Steaua Bucharest attacking midfielder Nicolae Dica.
Romanian press reports suggest high-profile agent Ana Maria Frodan has held talks with Steaua chiefs to make them aware of interest from Italy.
Steaua are ready to sell Dica for £4 million in January - if Fiorentina are prepared to put an advanced £700,000 payment immediately on the table.
