Christian Vieri has revealed he rejected two Premiership offers to sign with Fiorentina this summer.

The 33 year-old Italian striker told Corriere della Sera: "I tried to find an ambitious team - and I found one. Tottenham and Manchester City had contacted me, but when I was called by [Fiorentina sports director] Pantaleo Corvino, I quickly said 'yes'."
