Manchester United midfielder Anderson says he's happy to play anywhere for Fiorentina.
Anderson arrives on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season for a reported 6.5m.
"The first training session was good, the team looked after me everyone helped me to settle in. I have to thank everyone and appreciate what they are doing for me," he told Viola Channel.
"I am very happy. I was happy at Manchester for seven or eight years, it was a big club for me and had a lot of friends, but now it's a new challenge and the time to change.
"Sir Alex Ferguson was the guy I looked for, the best guy I ever met in football. I have to say thank you for everything he did for me.
"I don't have a preferred position on the pitch. I just came here to try to help with the players, help the team and help the manager. I do my best.
"I saw Fiorentina lost Champions League qualification by two points last season, so this year I want to help them get into the Champions League."
