Fiorentina have completed the signing of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Matias Fernandez.

Fernandez put pen to paper on a four-year contract.

"ACF Fiorentina announce the permanent signing of Matias Ariel Fernandez from Sporting Clube de Portugal," read a statement.

"The player, born in Buenos Aires on May 15 1986, has played 46 games for Chile and scored 11 goals."
