Fiorentina have confirmed interest in Genoa striker Giovanni Simeone.

Fiorentina chief Giancarlo Antognoni admits they're keen on Simeone.

He stated: “Simeone is a player who has done very well at Genoa and it's only natural that a club like Fiorentina is tracking him with great interest."

The striker is viewed as a replacement for Nikola Kalinic.
