Fiorentina defender Per Kroldrup is being linked with a move to MLS according to reports in Denmark and Italy.
tipsbladet.dk and La Gazzetta dello Sport both suggest that Toronto FC are showing interest in the 32-year old former Denmark international who is out of contract with La Viola this summer.
Kroldrup, who has also played with Udinese and Everton during his career, is being targeted as a potential Designated Player signing by TFC who sit at the bottom of the Eastern Conference table on just three points from 11 matches.
Injuries have restricted Kroldrup to a limited number of appearances over the past few years but Toronto are believed to be looking for an available player with European experience and the Dane seems to fit that mould.
