Fiorentina teammates are stunned by the latest injury setback for Giuseppe Rossi.
Rossi has been ruled out for five months after requiring more knee surgery.
"It's a shame having to do without a player like Rossi, who is also a great man within the team," Borja Valero told Radio Blu.
"I hope he can recover soon, as we want him back in the side as soon as possible. We are here waiting."
Gonzalo Rodriguez added: "At this moment I just want him to know we are close to him: the city, all the players. We must all stay with him."
