Fiorentina intend to make a new bid for Espanyol wing ace Albert Riera in January.

DiarioSport says Fiorentina had an £8 million offer turned down by Espanyol over the summer, but intend to try again for the winger, who is emerging as the hottest talent in the Primera.

Fiorentina want a deal in the winter market for Riera, particularly with him not being Cup-tied from European competition. The winger's buyout clause is £15 million.
