Fiorentina owner Andrea Dalla Valle has hit out at want-away Riccardo Montolivo.

Montolivo is angling to leave Florence this summer.

"His words were a stab in the back," blasted Della Valle. "I did not expect it from him. Riccardo should talk to the fans before me and make it clear whether he wants to stay or not.

"If the big players want to leave, then we won't stop them, as we'll reinvest in equally important figures. Mind you, that does not mean we're dismantling the squad."
