Fiorentina midfielder David Pizarro has hailed the impact of coach Vincenzo Montella this season.

The Viola currently sit in fourth place.

"In Florence we have a large group," he told Sky Sport Italia. "It has not been easy to play at this level after changing so many players.

"But we are a tight group and that is without doubt down to Mr. Montella.

"He has given this team a soul."
