Fiorentina have announced Mario Gomez has fully recovered from his knee injury.

The Germany international picked up the problem in Fiorentina's 1-1 draw with Cagliari on September 15.

A statement from Fiorentina read: "Mario Gomez has recovered.

"The Germany forward will therefore gradually begin training again with the rest of the squad."
