Fiorentina have tabled a £7 million offer for Porto defender Pepe.
The Brazilian is due to qualify for a Portuguese passport this year and has declared an ambition to play in a bigger competition.
A Bola says Fiorentina have made their offer, but face competition from bigger clubs AC Milan, Barcelona and Chelsea.
