Micah Richards suggests Manchester City's James Milner is one of the best midfielders in the world.
The English full-back, 26, is on loan at Fiorentina but knows the English veteran well from their time together at the Etihad Stadium and feels he is right up in the top echelon of central midfielders in world football.
"James Milner is up there with the top midfielders in the world," he told the 'Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast' show on talkSPORT.
"A lot of people say he's not amazing at one particular thing but he never lets the team down and Man City are a better team when he plays."
The former Aston Villa star is out of contract in the summer and Richards suggests he will be pondering where he can get regular game time before making the call on his future.
"Milner is someone who is too good to be sitting on the bench. He deserves to be playing in the starting 11 somewhere. That will be one of the key factors in his decision," he added.
