Fiorentina are moving for Manchester City defender Micah Richards.
City have put the England international up for sale, but are yet to field any serious offers.
La Nazione says Fiorentina are preparing a bid for Richards, who turned 26 this summer and his contract with City expires at the end of this season.
The England international grew up at the club and is valued at approximately 9m (£7m).
