Fiorentina are keeping tabs on AC Milan striker Alberto Gilardino.

Gilardino's representatives won't consider seeking a move away this month, but will explore the option at the end of the season, says Corriere dello Sport.

Gilardino fears being frozen out of the first team picture with Alexandre Pato and Ronaldo now regarded as coach Carlo Ancelotti's first-choice combination.

Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli, who worked with Gilardino at Parma, remains a big fan of the Italy international.
