Fiorentina deny they attempted to sign Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi.
Fiorentina have rejected reports that they made a bid for Villarreal’s Rossi during the summer transfer window.
“We never contacted him,” new Viola sporting director Daniele Prade.
“He’s a really good player who would do well at any club, but he has high wages and we don’t know when he’ll be ready to play again.”
