Fiorentina are lining up a move for Inter Milan's Argentine defender Nicola Burdisso. Reports out of Italy suggest that the Tuscan club could be looking at a January move for the defender who has struggled to hold down a place in Inter's starting eleven.

Italian daily La Nazione claims Fiorentina manager Cesare Prandelli is keen to secure Burdisso on a short-term loan, with a permanent move to be discussed at the end of the season.
