Fiorentina GM Sandro Mencucci insists Alberto Gilardino is not for sale.

Gilardino has been linked with Juventus and Marseille since the end of last season.

"I don't see Gilardino playing outside Florence," said Mencucci on Fiorentinanews. "The transfer gossip is normal and is often around before a big competition like the World Cup.

"But he is the star striker of Fiorentina and the Italy squad - and he'll continue to be."
